The game was delayed by this fan running on the field with a Mitt Romney sign.
6:38PM EST October 9. 2012 - CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Reds starter Homer Bailey, in his interview session Monday, says he would have no problem getting distracted by the frenzied home crowd while taking the mound in the biggest game of his life.
"I will probably be somewhat oblivious to it,'' he said, "....unless there's a streaker running across.''
BOX SCORE: Reds vs. Giants
GAME 3: Bailey could close out Giants
Well, 10 seconds before he threw his first pitch, guess what happened?
Yep, a middle-aged man, albeit wearing clothes, ran across the outfield carrying a Mitt Romney sign while trying to rouse the fans.
It didn't quite work. The fans booed loudly when he ran around for two minutes before being tackled, and subdued, by four officers.
It didn't affect Bailey, either.
He pitched a 1-2-3 first inning.
I guess Romney fans are just as rude as Romney himself. Romney went over his allotted time repeatedly during the debate, and now this moron thinks his hate-speech about abortion, which can't even be seen properly from the vantage point he chooses for himself, warrants delaying America's greatest pastime.
Yup - that's a Romney-lover for ya.
