"...Beck -- basking in the wall-to-wall coverage on national TV and the front pages of America's newspapers -- is using that afterglow to roll out a completely different for-profit venture of Glenn Beck Inc., one that could greatly add to the showman's $32 million windfall that he reaped last year. His plan to stop America from wandering in the darkness apparently involves you visiting his new website aimed at competing with the Daily Beasts and Huffington Posts of the world."

Beck's identified his market, morons. There's no end to that market.
No one's ever gone broke betting on stupid.
You want these morons running the country? Well, do something about it this Nov.

Absolutely! Stupid can draw a lot of attention: it's entertaining! But, when Stupid is allowed a platform, it becomes dangerous.

Thanks euterpe. The reich-wing Teabaggers isn't a political party, it's a mental illness.
We can't allow them to gain control this Nov. or it's game over for the US.

Nah, teabaggers are just puppets for the moneybags behind the republican party.
They are so simple, they cannot see that they (1) are being used to make money for the holders of the purse strings (see GB's bank account get overfilled) and (2) will be discarded like yesterday's stale milk once they no longer kowtow to their masters.

The class warfare and jealousy that comes out of the left is truly comical. The man donated over $100,000 of his own money to the SOWF, the event raised $5,500,000.00 for the SOWF and the left is freaking out because event costs are coming out of that $5.5M. Did you seriously expect him to stiff the contractors that put the stage together and the other people who helped make the even happen?
Also, I notice no where in the article does it mention just exactly what Beck has 'cashed in'. Only agreement that the funds are going to the SOWF and to pay for the event itself.
By contrast, I'm sure our buddy, Al Sharpton will be able to pay for a few more pair of $300 italian leather shoes and $2,000 suits. Hmmm...When was the last time you saw Beck in a $2,000 suit?

I'd say Beck is the Tammy Faye doing the blubbering for God and letting God speak through him, while Palin mama Grizzly Saint is counting the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in her head as she reads her palm and talks nasty in the name of God.

I read the article. The title of this thread and the title of the article states that "Beck is cashing in on the Restoring Honor Rally". implying he made a bunch of money off of the rally itself. Yet nowhere does it say how much he supposedly 'cashed in'. Can you supply that figure?
Secondly, please tell me how a company that is not owned by Beck, paying for advertising space on a website correlates to "Beck cashing in on the rally"
Then lets search and see how much Sharpton "cashed in"...shall we?

Yet nowhere does it say how much he supposedly 'cashed in'. Can you supply that figure?
OK, so if there are no solid dollar figures (3 whole days after the event) there was no cashing in? Let me guess: the failure to turn the economy completely around by the third month of the new administration invalidates the suggestion that there have been improvements to the economy under this administration, too.
Secondly, please tell me how a company that is not owned by Beck, paying for advertising space on a website correlates to "Beck cashing in on the rally"
No can do. I never claimed it did.
Then lets search and see how much Sharpton "cashed in"...shall we
I know nothing of the Sharpton event and whether or not he "cashed in" has no bearing on Beck's opportunistic use of his rally.
- 19 votes
All it ended up being was a bunch of fools lining the pockets of already rich people like Beck Palin and the big toad. What the heck they are just sheep ready for the shearing anyway after all who in their right mind follows a college dropout alcoholic dope addict anyway.

OK, so if there are no solid dollar figures (3 whole days after the event) there was no cashing in?
Can't say if there was or there wasn't. Neither can you. Neither can the seeder of this article. Neither can the person who wrote the article. The title is obviously intended to inflame class envy and judging by the comments in this thread...it worked. Fact of the matter is, no one knows if Beck will walk away from this with a dime.
No can do. I never claimed it did.
Then what was the purpose of pointing out that goldline was advertising on the site, as you did in post 1.11?
I know nothing of the Sharpton event and whether or not he "cashed in" has no bearing on Beck's opportunistic use of his rally.
Wait a minute. DIdn't you just say you hadn't a clue as to whether or not Beck actually "cashed in"? Make up your mind. So far, all we know is he donated $100,000 of his own money to the SOWF and raised another $5.5M for the SOWF, out of which will come the expenses to pay for the rally itself. How do you arrive at the conclusion that that is somehow "opportunistic" for Beck?

#They are so simple, they cannot see that they (1) are being used to make money for the holders of the purse strings (see GB's bank account get overfilled) and (2) will be discarded like yesterday's stale milk once they no longer kowtow to their masters.
But don't you get it? They have nothing better or else to do! And at least they are treated like they are a "part of something" and doesn't everyone want to fit in somewhere? They would try to fit in with their own evil and dastardly ilk, including their own religion and color, than to try to wedge their way into President Obama's ideals. Which, btw, the righties see as "foreign and not like them! Remember?
Again, isn't it natural that they see themselves fitting with their "master" as opposed to a person of color who they feel belong in the kitchen and definitely not among them and/or where they belong. There is never close to an equal rating to some of them and therefore no need to make a decision. It's automatic!
There is no choice to be made for them because it is as easy as eating pie and ice-cream. And it does not matter how BADLY they have been treated either. Look at how they were treated under gwb - and they voted him into office twice- and was ready to do it all over again- if the Constitution had allowed it. So you see, they have never accepted President Obama as their President or the President of the country and probably never will. We have just got to outnumber them at the polls this November- that's all!

Pat N,
What do you really want to say? You're going almost line by line through the article. When I was in 1st grade and happily reading a complete story, the teacher would work with some of the slower students, line by line, to help them comprehend the story. Reading comprehension is not your strong suit, if we have to go line by line with you.
However, none of that matter's, you are obviously a Beck supporter, so let us know why he is so great. I'll listen and read every word, I love a good story.

It takes much longer than 55 hours to put a business plan like this together, much less impliment it. So this had to be planned well in advance.
- 6 votes
Great, Black Kettle. Indulge me. I'll take you up on your generous offer. Go line by line with me. Show me where anything....either overtly or through implied intent....shows that Beck is "cashing in" and this isn't just a title intended to incite a knee-jerk, class envy reaction from the left.

Pat N.... Your wasting your time... Some of those commenting in this thread were the same people (<em>notice not personal I name no one</em>) That stated that Glenn would not show up at the 8/28 rally ..and said that he was making money using the soldiers... the same people that said no one would show up!
The thought that his new internet site, which is nothing more than the conservative version of ...(as the article points out) Huffpo and The Beast.
Pointing things out like...
This site had to be in the works for months...When those commenting now were so vocal and pointed that the event would fail and no one would come!
This site costs money to run thus needs advertising to pay for it self.
That this site may or may not be successful, so maybe he will make money or maybe not.
Logic escapes the argument of this article. The design and preparation to launch this site was done before the success of failure of the 8/28 rally could be known! Thus it is not and could not have been a cashing in moment! But, why bother with truth when you can Bash someone personally..
These people that tell us we have to be sympathetic and understanding of Islam...feel free to slander Becks religion.
They have no problem name calling anyone that thinks different than them... They feel its perfectly acceptable to fellow Americans morons, stupid and so many other derogate names...
And then believe they are on the high ground...Calling Tea Party and 9/12 and people that believe in God Stupid, morons,Sheep.. and any number of other names... Believe they are SMARTER than any conservative.
Pat N. They tell us every day who and what they fear...That is what they attack!
And this new site scares them ..because ..it provided VIDEO! It compares what they said to what so some think they said. It provides a contrast and provides a place for conservatives and people of belief to find information that seems to be left out of the mainstream media.
Have you seen one person complain about the money Arianna Huffington makes from The Huffington Post...?
Remember they attack what they fear! Or they would not waste their TIME, now would they?

That's what's so wierd about this whole thing. It's like they're saying: "(GASP!!!!) That evil Glenn Beck has a (EEEK!!!!) website! That he (GASP!!!!) planned beforehand! This is news! News, I tell you!"
I'm taking a web design class as we speak. I plan to have a site up and running in the next 12 weeks. I hate to see how freaked out they get. Apparently, a conservative starting a website is a huge conspiracy.
Pat N. They tell us every day who and what they fear...That is what they attack!
Is it fear? Or pure, unadulterated hate? Either way..it's pathetic. I can understand why a large part of the "normal" dem base thinks their party has abandoned them. Between the people here that have such a vile loathing for another human being and people like that woman who left the rambling death threats on FreedomWorks answering machine....I can see why they think that. I can also see why they're going to get trounced in November.

I wonder how many people who support beck actually read the "fine" print at the bottom of his 828 website which stated first the restoring honor rally will be paid "FIRST" and any excess will be for the SOWF "SECOND". So how isn't it about 90% about beck and let me misdirect my followers about helping soldiers so I can follow in the footsteps of my friend hannity.

I wonder how many people who support beck actually read the "fine" print at the bottom of his 828 website which stated first the restoring honor rally will be paid "FIRST" and any excess will be for the SOWF "SECOND"
I don't think anyone had to read it. He came out and said it on the radio and his show. He certainly wasn't trying to hide it. He also said if they didn't raise enough money, he would pay for it out of his own pocket. And he also matched dollar for dollar (up to $500,000 or one million dollars. Sorry, I can't remember which) in donations over a period of a few days. He was hoping to raise $3.5 million for SOWF and he ended up raising over $5.5 million dollars. So what is the problem?

I asked it before...I'll ask it again....No one could answer it then. I assume you can.
Are you suggesting Beck stiff the contractors that built the stage? The electricians that put up the lights?
You DO know that this is how ANY fundraiser works, right? Raise the money, pay the expenses for the event, donate the rest to the charity.
Why do you guys see "conspiracy" in everything? It's silly.

I think the news is that the rally wasn't really done to restore honor, but rather to profit from. The point being that profit wan't an after-thought, but rather it was the whole point of the thing.

Even scarier is that stupid has the ability to vote!
You have got that right.

Millions get donated to a great cause, all the expenses get paid (just like ANY fundraising event I have ever attended for like the Boys & Girls Club, United Way, etc.), 40 religious leaders across just about every faith (including Muslim) gather together at one time - and the conclusion is:
think the news is that the rally wasn't really done to restore honor, but rather to profit from. The point being that profit wan't an after-thought, but rather it was the whole point of the thing.

You mean there was no charge for attendance. Fact is, the event was far from free. Who covered the expenses and created some profits too, undoubtedly, are the donors and consumers who attended. Just a different kind of attendance charge, really.
It has long been known by those who understand the carnival medicine show operation that if the good "preacher" hooks his wagon to a worthy cause (soldiers) and offers the audience what it wants to hear (political base red meat), he gets to line his pockets AND, here is the BIG DADDY PAY OFF, wait for it now ...... buy some honor for himself too. Such a deal!!

Ummm..."yes" again. I believe I stated that the people present made voluntary donations and voluntarily purchased merchandise. Isn't that the same thing you're saying?
Just a different kind of attendance charge, really.
Really? So everyone in attendance was required to make a donation or purchase an item? Because that's what a "charge" is.

Agent 57, your post was so informative and accurate that I credit it with creating and/or saving 2.5 million jobs......
(The US operates under a regulated "Free Market"-that CEO you're decrying is also responsible to his shareholders and probably has a connection to the 401K you have with that "very good job" you have)
CMlawyer, don't have any gold coins and don't plan on getting any. "Waking up" is a subjective exercise.
- 4 votes
that CEO you're decrying is also responsible to his shareholders
A new report concludes that chief executives of the 50 firms that have laid off the most workers since the onset of the economic crisis in 2008 took home 42 percent more pay in 2009
then those CEO's should have given the payroll savings to the shareholders instead of putting 42% more in their own pocket...
it's about integrity, I don't find many of those folks really have much of any...just more greed and the more you have the greedier you get... I certainly don't begrudge anyone making money.. even a lot of it... I have an issue with people making money off others misfortune... like firing them or laying them off and them pocketing the savings.. not even passing it on to the shareholders..
also, try to be less of a jerkoff ...K

Please .... take a trip back in time ...look at this thread and go tell EVERY Progressive that called those that attended the Beck rally or support conservatives views by these and like names ...
THAT THEY HAVE " gave up all of their HONOR" .... Or ... saying a conservative that used loser ...has no HONOR and letting a Progressive use Moron and Stupid... might be by some (Not saying ..just musing that some might) think that HYPOCRITICAL.
Just wondering since you were happy to get a FR from one that able to call these FELOW AMERICANS... "stupid".

Not from you. You have a habit of double standards and trying to belittle anyone not buying into your version of your truth and facts which like that statement is total fabrication.

No! I don't think so ...but it is or could be thought to be a personal attack!
Which we all know would be a violation of CofH... NO!!! ... I think calling someone a "parrot repeating what your owners have brainwashed you with" is a personal attack on Pat N. to refer to Pat as someone "owned" by someone else would be saying they are a slave.
and Fearless's comment ... did not go with out notice... might I ask if the cracker comment lead to the ...

Thus calling Pat a "cracker"... since to insinuates cannibalism ..would not one have to eat their own kind and since the comment was about eating a cracker, was Pat not just called a "cracker
That seems to me as if it just might have been another PERSONAL attack on a fellow Vine Member!

You know the great irony of it all? No way would it be possible without the lunatic left nutroots obsession with Beck and now even the mainstream media beyond Fox. CNN not only broadcasts news stories about his events but they gather political analysts to discuss their impact. Good for him for leveraging their lunacy for personal gain. Must drive them even nuttier!

Kudos to Beck. There is NOTHING more American that ripping off the galactically stoopid. I hope every single reichwingtard signs up for Beck's paid services. I've seen his "university". What a hoot that is - the world according to Beck, but not one single actionalbe item to help his followers save or invest or make money. Feeding them crap and taking their money, I just love a good scam.

Anybody that expected anything else, has not seen how he works.

From the link:
Which begs the bottom line: What was "Restoring Honor" really all about? Is the punditocracy trying to [sic] hard to read the tea leaves of Beck's "agenda," of why he went with televangelist-style fervor about God and empty tributes to the MLK legacy before an audience that had been instead lured to D.C. from the so-called heartland by its red-meat displeasure with Barack Obama?
You bet they are. At the end of the day, the ultimate goal of "Restoring Honor" -- like just about everything that Beck has done in the last decade, from riding the rubble of 9/11 and the Iraq war buildup to change his persona from "Morning Zoo" guy to patriot to saying outlandish things about FEMA camps or Obama's "deep-seated hatred for white people" in his early attention-seeking months on Fox -- goes back to one thing, always the most important thing in the Beck universe.
Building the Glenn Beck brand.
Yes sir, Saturday was all about restoring honor and restoring God in American life.
But now it's Monday and Glenn Beck has something he wants to sell you.
I see up-thread that Beck's critics are now being considered "wealth envious."
I think they missed the point.
Speaking only for myself, who the heck cares if Beck is making beaucoup bucks? I certainly don't. What I do care about, however, is a con-man dressing up in the flag and waving a cross when his purpose is neither the good of the nation nor the salvation of humanity.
Yes, it's legal. But it doesn't make it right. And it certainly doesn't make him honorable.
- 17 votes
You make an excellent point, Kate. I wonder if Beck fans realize that all they are receiving is regurgitated idioms and false bravado. The only reason why Beck even exists is because a segment of our society is genuinely afraid that they aren't as powerful as they once thought they were. The entitlements of "free, white and twenty-one" went obsolete a long time ago.
However, I do believe this article has merit simply because Beck himself has stated over and over again how altruistic his motive are. The truth of course is exactly the opposite!
- 12 votes
However, I do believe this article has merit simply because Beck himself has stated over and over again how altruistic his motive are. The truth of course is exactly the opposite!
and he has stated that as well, he's simply an entertainer and it's all about the money..
With a deadpan, Beck insists that he is not political: Beck insists that he is not political: "I could give a flying crap about the political process." Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. "We're an entertainment company," Beck says. He has managed to monetize virtually everything that comes out of his mouth.
And now it even includes selling God....
- 13 votes
So, basically... he can't be trusted in ANYTHING he says!

Well said Kate ... Beck has values that are lost in a myriad of our capitalistic system. That is only kept in check by a real Democracy...

- 2 votes
Boy, what short memories or convenient memories. The president doesn't pass budgets, congress has that authority. We got a surplus because the Republicans controlled congress and THEY gave us a surplus. Clinton's pole numbers were in the tank until the Republicans got the spending under control and he gets the credit. But that credit is only because the left covers and has convenient memory loss.
- 3 votes
So ridiculous! Everytime the left disagrees with anyone they immediately bash the person and ridicule. They have no debate only name calling. I guess the altruistic Obbama should never have received profit from his books. Did he give it to the poor? Does he give millions in charity? I think not. He keeps his money and spends it on lavish vacations for himself and his family. Why is the left so critical only of people on the right who EARN their money. It is fact that the liberals don't give anywhere near the charity that conservatives do. Liberals always want someone else to give. Obama, Biden and Kerry just to name 3 gave less than I did on my teachers salary! Pathetic!!!!!
- 5 votes
mary, shhhhhhh. This isn't supposed to be a debate. It's supposed to be a Beck-bashing session.....

There is simply nothing to debate. Glenn Beck has found a way to get rich and he sucks that tit for all it's worth. Simple.
- 11 votes
No one has any problem with that he is rich it is the fact that he got that way by preying on the ignorance and bigotry of his audience. The sad part about this is he has convinced his audience that he is something other than a snake oil salesman.
- 13 votes
Again, if those millions of people have a different view of Beck and our nation than you do those people are stupid! What a great debater you are! Just what I said in the beginning that is all the left can do. So much for free speech!

I don't think his followers are all stupid.. but they ARE all Obama haters and they just want an alternative "leader". It might be Beck. It might be Palin. It might be Limbaugh.... Whomever. To marydem1, You are correct. Huge difference between hating the President and just disagreeing with his policies. It is easy to spot the haters. They cannot articulate their opposition. They just vomit up reruns of Beck, Hannity, Palin, Limbaugh, Coulter, etc. If someone can actually discuss policy and articulate the what and why of their opposition, I am glad to listen. Otherwise it is a waste of my time and "what is in their heart" becomes crystal clear.

Why is the left so critical only of people on the right who EARN their money. It is fact that the liberals don't give anywhere near the charity that conservatives do
Marydem, you hit the nail on the head, conservatives give TONS of money to lobbyists and politicians in the hope that the richest will be taxed the least! You go girl, spend your money were it counts, on politicians...who cares about the pesky poor people.
I would like your definition of "charity" and also where do you get your information?
People who brag about giving to charity, really don't understand the meaning of the word.
- 9 votes
conservatives give TONS of money to lobbyists and politicians in the hope that the richest will be taxed the least!
You are so right...because the liberals would NEVER give money to lobbyists or politicians to get what they want. /sigh...
I would like your definition of "charity" and also where do you get your information?
This article was linked in an earlier post, but I'll post it again and even give you a little snippet.
"Although liberal families' incomes average 6 percent higher than those of conservative families, conservative-headed households give, on average, 30 percent more to charity than the average liberal-headed household ($1,600 per year vs. $1,227)."
- 2 votes
Why is the left so critical only of people on the right who EARN their money.
they 'earned' it by restraining trade. some people 'earn' money by burglary and some people 'earn' money by safe cracking, crack dealing and purse snatching. We're critical of their methods of 'earning' money too for exactly the same reason.
But the deeper answer to your whining point is that capitalism is NOT governnment. It exists with the allowance and support of government, and that support is your cost of operations as you 'earn' money.
and while we're on the subject, ayn rand wrote fiction.

I don't think his followers are all stupid.. but they ARE all Obama haters and they just want an alternative "leader". It might be Beck. It might be Palin.
Beck and Palin are unelectable and both are smart enough to know it.
Obama haters .... really?
Did you watch the rally on 8/28? When President Obama was mentioned in a prayer ..Not one thing was said against our president... No cat calls ...no boo's ..nothing! Why? Because those that oppose the president do so because of his POLICIES...Not who he is as a man..Its about who he is as a POLITICIAN.
Yes there are right wing crazies... but that was not the people that were on the mall on Saturday... That was a half of a million (based on MSM accounts) Americans that disagree with with the direction their president is taking their country!
Point of interest... we all know that about 76 percent of this country are white folks... So I guess a lot of those whites voted for our president! Yet now that about 50% of Americans now disagree with the direction the president is going those same whites are now just hating because they are racist... Intellectually that can not be supported!
They voted for him yet now would vote against him because of his race ?
WTF!
Why ridicule fellow Americans for disagreeing with you?

Why does Glenn Beck who is known for his outrageous lying, invoke (surprise, surprise) God at his faux civil rights rally?
Doesn't Beck know that God is traditionally seen as taking a very dim view of the "bearing false witness" that Beck is well known for. Just ask Barbara Walters aboug Beck's tall tales.
Then Beck goes on a long spiel about George Washington, lying about the very document Beck is holding up at the rally. Well, George Washington rode out in front of his army into battle, crying "C'mon boys!" So unlike Dubya, who generally kept very safe distance from Iraq, and made a grand show of cutting back his golf game a little "to support the troops". Why bring up Dubya? Because he is part and parcel of the Republican propaganda machine of Fox News, Beck's employer.
Also disgusting is Beck's refusal to take back his characterization of Obama as a "racist"--he only amended the statement a little, but refused to retract the offensive remark.
Time to change the channel on Howard Beale. Bring on Sybil the Soothsayer.
- 11 votes
Exactly! Beck is nothing more than a former druggie who found a way into the media with a small-time radio show. Then, with sensationalism and Tea Party (Koch) money, he ballooned himself into what we have today.
You can take the trash out of the gutter, but it doesn't change how it smells!

- 9 votes
Racial comment, certainly. But probably spot-on regards truth. Sharpton is a worse fraud than Beck ever was
you don't know a thing about sharpton other than he believed what tawana brawley told him and a lot of other people and what the liar said about the duke lacrosse team members. you don't look at the overwhelming times that he was right and spot on in his criticisms. he was not the only one who was taken by the lies. and the reason that people were taken in was the fact that in sexist/racist america these things happen like the caucasian woman who was raped in a bar on the pool table while people watched.
- 3 votes
The only person who brought up race is again on the left. No one claimed that blacks were the only people receiving welfare. Maybe you should examine your racism! You apparently think that ONLY blacks receive welfare. Welfare hasn't worked out like we were told. It has colapsed the family, allowed dead beat fathers to abandon their children by putting the responsibility on the tax-payer. I don't have a problem with helping ut, those kids have fathers and even if they can only pay $20.00 a week they should have to pay it. And maybe then they wouldn't have children they can't afford to feed. I have a hard enough time taking care of my own family. My husband shouldn't have to work more to support someone else's family if they can work. We would have like to have more children but, decided to have only what we could afford. If we have more would you like to donate to us?
Do you work for a poor person? We don't. I appreciate that my husband can work for a corporation. If everyone worked for the government who would pay them? Government doesn't make money, it just spends it mine.
the CEO's of many of these corps work for the stockholders, they don't own the company, they were hired like all the employees. But many are stealing from the stockholders and using the corporations as cash cows for their own personal gain. This actually does the stockholders a disservice.... as these are publicly traded companies... the offsets should go to the stockholders not in the CEO'S pockets...
I just don't understand why people applaud greed and deceit.. 6000 people get laid off making our country less secure and more difficult for all businesses and one CEO make 4+million more dollars a year.,.. and they are somehow lauded as the greatest...
- 6 votes
6000 people get laid off making our country less secure and more difficult for all businesses and one CEO make 4+million more dollars a year.,.. and they are somehow lauded as the greatest...
Brilliantly said!
- 6 votes
Sure, are there greedy and corrupt CEO's. No one said that was okay. It isn't. That is part of what Restoring Honor is all about. I am consistant about greed and corruption. I dispise it in government and in corporations.
Not all corporations or people who earn a lot of money are greedy. Maybe they work harder and maybe their stockholders are happy that when the company makes money their retirement accounts are making money also. It is awful that so many people are unemployed but, if the company doesn't turn a profit no one will be employed. If the stimulus worked and it doesn't seem to have done a thing maybe our unemployment wouldn't be at nearly 10%.
There are many successful black families in this country, a lot of which probably support him
I have no idea how Sharpton relates to Beck in any way shape form or fashion. Sharpton is a person the media turn to for a quick comment when something that relates to blacks are concerned. I was totally shocked when we did a survey and found the vast majority of black people polled do not think of him nor of Jackson as their spokesmen.
All in all the Sharpton/Beck argument is just a red herring. Of course small minded people think welfare people live good. Same people who sent their jobs overseas so their fat cat friends could get richer. Message to those people welfare payment might keep you safe in your home. Hungry people resort to violence if they are hungry enough. It is part of keepin an oredely society and someday when we get smart we will eliminate it and put our people back to work making things we all need properly.
- 4 votes
OK...the comments about Welfare are racist. I used to work for the 3rd largest Housing Authority in the US. I loved my job, and I loved the people I met who lived in the projects. The idea that, "they should just get a job" shows a basic lack of understanding. If we are talking about ONLY African-Americans living in projects, we are talking about 97% single mothers, with more than one child under school age. How can she work? Who will take care of her children? Childcare is not cheap, if the government wanted to lift African Americans off of welfare, they just need to provide childcare. I saw millions of dollars wasted (planting bushes in the projects, but no watering plan), cost $5,000 a bush and they were dead before the end of that summer. But the White, Board of Directors, toured said project (from the safety of a bus) looked at the newly planted bushes, and said, "I would like that at my house." They could have installed air-conditioning (which does lower the crime rate), but dead bushes, money well spent. Did the resident's get a say in this or anything else? NO NO NO Government sponsored childcare would solve the problem. Rural whites on welfare, need GED training and jobs (harder to find in rural areas).

It's called the Signs Following. They're mentioned in Mark 17:18 or thereabouts and luke, I think 10:19
So if this scriptural cherry picker didn't suck snakeface, god says you can tell him to pee up a rope. If he pulls THAT off, it's still not a sign following.
